Bought one of these OBDII diagnostic truck 'puters during a group buy on www.toyotanation.com.
OBDII stands for the second generation On Board Diagnostics system built into every vehicle after 1995. If the CEL (check engine light) on the dashboard comes on, the first thing a mechanic will do is connect the vehicle to a computer. The computer then displays codes as to the possible causes. This mini computer supposedly does the same thing AND has multiple engine performance gauges that yeilds real time engine measurements. Plus, it has a trip computer.
